Official Statement from the Office of the Samoan District Council
Due to restrictions recently implemented by the State of California and more importantly the safety and well-being of our constituents, this message is to inform you that our 7th Annual Samoan District Council conference that was rescheduled for September 14-18 in Vacaville has been officially cancelled.
We hope you understand this was not an easy decision to make. As a district event with multiple variables, the committee has been working tirelessly considering and evaluating each component and various options before arriving to this difficult conclusion.
We understand many of you have already made reservations and travel plans for our conference. If so, please contact your airlines, hotels and rentals immediately as they may still be able to waive cancellation fees due to the current pandemic.
Please standby for information regarding refunds for registration fees. Someone from the registration team will reach out to you. For further information, please reach out to your lead pastor and/or Section Presbyter.
As we look forward, past this worldwide crisis, can you imagine the incredible time we are going to have next year as we gather together again for our Samoan District Council conference? What a celebration this will be! In the meantime, may the Lord bless each and everyone of you. Our prayer is that God will provide you and your families good health, strength, wisdom and peace as we move forward in His good, pleasing and perfect will.
